COVID-19 Update

Business Update: 13th December 2021

After the latest set of restrictions put in place by the Government, we wanted to reassure our customers that all our branches and showrooms remain open and continue to operate as normal. We have safety measures in place including sanitising stations at all entrances and screens at sales counters. It remains compulsory for all individuals, who are not exempt, to wear face coverings in our branches and showrooms.

Business Update: 29th November 2021

We’ve updated our policies on the compulsory wearing of masks in-store in line with the new government guidance, coming into effect from 30th November 2021. As of this date, it will be compulsory for all individuals, who are not exempt, to wear face coverings in shops and as such, all staff and customers will be required to wear a face mask or face covering in all of our branches and showrooms when serving customers.

Business Update: 19th July 2021

In line with the new government guidance, it is no longer compulsory for staff or customers to wear face masks in any of our branches or showrooms. However, we want all of our customers to feel comfortable and safe while shopping with us and so if you would prefer to wear a mask, you are welcome to do so. If you would feel more comfortable if our staff members also wear a face-covering whilst serving you, please just ask and we will be happy to oblige.

We’ve removed the one-way systems put in place in our branches and showrooms as social distancing rules are lifted however we will continue to keep screens at our counters and checkout areas.
Hand sanitising stations will remain in situ and customers are more than welcome to use these.

Before you enter any of our branches or showrooms, we will ask you to sanitise your hands and wear a mask.

Building & Plumbing branches

All of our Building and Plumbing branches remain open and continue to operate as normal.

We are experiencing longer lead times than normal on certain products due to nationwide shortages so you may have to wait a little longer than normal for some materials. Prior to placing an order, you can speak to your local branch or our customer services team to confirm stock availability.

Kitchen & Bathroom Showrooms

Our Kitchen & Bathroom showrooms are open to the public for both pre-arranged design appointments as well as walk-ins. We also continue to offer virtual appointments if you prefer. You can book an appointment online here.

All of our Building and Plumbing branches remain open and continue to operate as normal.
Our Kitchen & Bathroom showrooms are operating on an appointment-only basis.  Virtual appointments are available however all Showrooms sites remain closed to the general public.

Building & Plumbing branches

As an essential service, all Turnbull building and plumbing branches remain open. We will continue to operate as normal and the service that we provide to you will remain unchanged.

Kitchen & Bathroom Showrooms

Our showrooms are currently operating on an appointment-only basis for ongoing projects. All other appointments are available virtually and our Showrooms remain closed to the general public. If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact your local showroom team.

Building & Plumbing branches

Our building and plumbing branches remain open as normal.
We are still offering a full range of products on our website through our click and collect service and free contactless delivery within 20 miles of one of our branches.

Kitchen & Bathroom Showrooms

We are now happy to welcome customers back into the showroom and we will re-open as normal.

Business Update: 4th November 2020

Turnbull is deemed to be an essential business* and so is able to remain open during the national lockdown. There are restrictions to the service that we offer that specifically affect non-trade customers.  These restrictions are detailed below.

Trade Customers – Open to support your Business

With the news on 31 October that England faces a four week lockdown, we wanted to reassure you that all Turnbull branches and showrooms will remain open for our business customers.  We will continue to operate as normal and the service that we provide to you will remain unchanged. The safety of our staff and customers remains our priority and we have fully implemented Covid-19 safe working practices across our sites and our external sales and delivery network.

Retail Customers – Take Advantage of our Improved Delivery Service

Under the proposed rules of the national lockdown, we’re only able to serve members of the public who’ve ordered goods using our click and collect service or who have been invited personally onto our premises.

We’d like to assure you that we continue to offer a full range of products through our website and that deliveries will be prompt and free for anyone who needs materials delivered within twenty miles of one of our branches.
