Bespoke Shaker Style Country Kitchen, Louth, Lincolnshire
Jake from Brigg Kitchens & Bathrooms reworked the developer’s standard kitchen layout to create a dream country kitchen in Shaker style. Their wish list also included their existing wooden kitchen table, a range cooker and a kitchen island.

Getting that light bright Shaker style
Jake and his clients selected a Sheraton Shaker style kitchen with a painted woodgrain-effect finish in pale Limestone. Curved handles for cabinets and drawers soften this kitchen look.
Worktops and upstands in a light grey poured concrete effect laminate and a solid oak island surface finished in light chalky tones contribute to the kitchen’s light, bright natural vibe.
A KITCHEN WISH LIST REALISED
The L-shaped layout leaves space for a kitchen island and an open plan dining area centred around the wooden table. The wished-for island workspace (so popular with many customers) has a Chalked Oak solid wood worktop with rounded edges.
With a useful pop-up socket, this kitchen island is a valuable multi-use surface – positioned opposite the range cooker, it provides flexible preparation surface and as well as sociable informal dining. Note the dual wine racks acting as supports for this substantial central feature.
Room for the latest kitchen appliances
Classic Shaker style and layout requirements met, our kitchen planner found room for the latest kitchen appliances – there’s a NEFF integrated full height fridge, separate full height freezer and dishwasher all discreetly hidden behind beautiful Shaker cabinetry.
