May Bank Holiday Closure Period
Please note that we will be closed from 5:00 PM on Friday, 23rd May, for the May Bank Holiday. We will reopen as usual at 8:00 AM on Tuesday, 27th May.
Home Deliveries:
Orders placed during the closure will be processed when we return on Tuesday, 27th May, with deliveries scheduled to begin from Thursday, 29th May onwards.
Collection Orders:
You can still place collection orders during the closure period. Our branch teams will be available to process and assist with these orders as needed.
To avoid disappointment, we strongly recommend checking stock availability with your local branch before placing an order, as our website does not display live stock levels.
Branches Open As Usual
Our Building and Plumbing branches, as well as our Showrooms, will remain open as normal on Saturday. Please refer to their individual pages for opening hours.

We deliver Monday to Friday, between 7:30am to 5pm

For bulky items which may require use of our larger vehicles, we will contact you to discuss access
Home Delivery Service Van
Based at our distribution centre, our Home Delivery Service Van has got you covered for those orders of small sand bags, boxes of nails, few lengths of timber or any order where a bulky HGV just isn’t required.
Order from our range of building and plumbing materials* either directly with your nearest branch or online and we will deliver to your home.
*Please note: We can only deliver certain products by van due to weight and size restrictions. Larger, heavier products or orders can be delivered by our branch HGV fleet.
Delivery is within 3 working days, subject to stock availability (Monday to Friday only).
Delivery lead time may be longer than advertised during our peak times.
What to do:
- Call your nearest Turnbull branch or order online.
- We’ll contact you to confirm your order and your delivery details.
- If there is a longer delivery time for your order due to delays from particular suppliers or transfer of goods between branches, we’ll let you know. You can, of course, wait for your goods and we’ll keep you informed, or we might be able to offer a suitable substitute.
- If you decide to cancel, we will provide a full refund.
Where is this service available?
This service is available at all our branches except Brigg.
Home Delivery Service by Branches’ HGV Fleet
We deliver heavy and bulky items using our Heavy Goods crane vehicles out of our branches.
Delivery is within 3 working days, subject to stock availability (Monday to Friday only, excluding Bank Holidays).
Delivery lead times may be longer than advertised during peak times.
What to do:
- Call your nearest Turnbull branch or order online.
- We’ll contact you to confirm your order and your delivery details.
- If there is a longer delivery time for your order due to delays from particular suppliers or transfer of goods between branches, we’ll let you know. You can, of course, wait for your goods and we’ll keep you informed, or we might be able to offer a suitable substitute.
- We will update you of any change to HGV availability.
- If you decide to cancel prior to your delivery date, we will provide a full refund.
