Driver/Warehouse Operative (Newark)

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Driver / Warehouse Operative based at our Newark plumbing & heating branch. We are looking for someone with an enthusiasm for customer service and who is confident to work as part of a team and under their own initiative. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Loading our fleet of delivery vehicles ensuring that all products are safely loaded, secured and are correct against the customers’ orders.
- Making local deliveries of bathrooms and plumbing & heating products.
- Ensuring delivery is safe to make and respecting customer’s property.
- Checking goods off with Customers and obtaining signatures for delivery.
- Providing first class customer service.
- Handling customer queries on delivery effectively
We are looking for someone with;
- Full Driving licence for 7.5t and driver CPC.
- Product knowledge, customer service skills, warehouse skills and forklift licence would be an advantage.
- Excellent organisational skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a desire to provide first class customer service
- A commitment to provide high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
- Ability to form positive relationships with colleagues.
This is a full-time role; hours of work will be 7:30am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday (with 1 hour for lunch) and 7:30am to 12:30pm every other Saturday.
