Our C16 timber eased carcassing is a high quality construction timber suitable for a wide range of structural and general building applications. Commonly referred to as 4x2 timber, this kiln dried carcassing is carefully selected and precision cut to ensure consistent strength, stability and performance on site.

Each length undergoes a controlled kiln drying (KD) process using industry grade wood residue boilers, significantly reducing moisture content while maintaining the integrity of the timber. This helps minimise the risk of splitting, twisting and warping, ensuring the timber remains easy to work with in all environments.

The timber is pressure treated (PTL) to enhance durability and resistance against rot and moisture, making this C16 carcassing timber suitable for both internal and protected external use. With eased edges for safer handling and a clean finish, this 4x2 C16 timber is ideal for stud walls, framing, flooring and general construction projects.
